SCEA Dog Policy

Found in: News

The Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA) continually looks at updating their policies and procedures, always with our students welfare and education in mind.

A policy prohibiting dogs to be on any part of the College property (whether or not they are leashed or otherwise controlled) has been implemented. Obviously there are some exceptions to this rule, one of these being that if the dog is a registered guide dog/assistance dog and is being controlled by a person who is blind/deaf or partially blind/disabled to assist them with that disability. The other exception is where the College Principal or Chief Executive Officer (SCEA) has provided prior permission for the dog to be on school property. There has been some new signage placed around the College to notify people of this rule.

We ask for your assistance in adhering to this new policy. If you have any questions regarding this policy please direct them to the College administration or Ellenbrook@scea.wa.edu.au.
