Thank you parents, grandparents and carers for partnering with us this year. The culture of our school has developed in depth and complexity and is a reflection of the support you give us. I would like to draw specific attention to the work of our Parent Liaisons and the Fundraising Committee who have worked tirelessly this year to create positive connections within our community.

I would like to give special mention to Mrs Amanda Roscoe as chairperson of the Fundraising Committee. Her vision and passion for the role and development of the Committee has been outstanding and I have enjoyed working with her this year.

A key component of the very positive culture for which our school is renowned is the quality of our staff and the lengths they go to in providing the best possible experience for our families. It has been my pleasure to work with such a dedicated, professional and deeply caring team this year.

It is with a measure of sadness that we will be farewelling some of our Primary staff this year.

Mrs Sylvia Richardson is leaving to further her career path in teacher training. This is a significant step in Sylvia’s life and she is excited to see what God has in store for her next. Mrs Jasmyn Rullo has successfully secured a position at Mundaring Christian College, which is located in close proximity to where she is building a new home. Mrs Helen Dunjey is leaving to further her career in teacher education through Swinburne University and in addition, has secured a place at Alta-1 as a Learning and Literacy Support Coordinator.

Sylvia, Jasmyn and Helen have been integral to the success of our school and we wish them all the very best in their future endeavours.

I hope you have a lovely Christmas and I am looking forward to meeting you and your children again in the new year.
